AI, Cloud & Security Professional

I am exploring how artificial intelligence can help people and organizations solve new problems, reach underserved customers and communities, create useful products and services, and contribute to job creation and economic growth.

AI Should Expand What We Can Accomplish

Much of the public discussion about artificial intelligence focuses on automating existing work and reducing labor costs. Those uses are important, but they represent only part of AI's potential.

AI can also make previously impractical work possible. It can help businesses, nonprofits, educators, entrepreneurs, and individuals address problems that were too difficult or expensive to solve, serve people who were previously overlooked, and create entirely new products, services, and markets.

I want to encourage a broader discussion about how we can deliberately direct AI toward expansion and opportunity—not only substitution.

The question

How can we help more people and organizations use AI to solve unmet needs, serve new customers and communities, and generate sustainable job and economic growth?

I welcome examples, research, criticism, practical proposals, and perspectives from technologists, economists, educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, policymakers, and others interested in the future of work.

About Me

I am an electrical engineer, educator, software developer, and IT professional returning to the workforce after spending time raising my children.

My background combines engineering, technical education, software development, organizational problem-solving, and hands-on work with cloud and automation technologies.

I especially enjoy translating complex technical ideas into practical systems that people and organizations can understand and use.

I built and maintain the web app kc23.org

It's a full stack Next js website deployed on Cloudflare workers and AWS.

I'm also building a companion mobile app using Expo.
